TBI launched the "Beyond Bars" Prison Ministry in the Fall of 2023

The "Beyond Bars" Prison Ministry is taking the TBI educational program into the prison system to help men and women grow in their personal Christian walk, as well as to equip them to help minister to others within the prison.

The first TBI prison satellite campus is at the Kershaw Correctional Institution.  This is an all male facility with approximately 1,200 inmates.  TBI has the opportunity to bring a weekly TBI class into the prison (via video).  Students will follow the same weekly class and homework routine as the other TBI Satellite Campuses. 

STUDENT SPONSORSHIPS ARE OPEN
Please prayerfully consider becoming a TBI "Beyond Bars" sponsor. God opened this door for us to minister at Kershaw CI to 24 students and our prayer is that it will continue to grow. The annual student sponsorship provides a student with two semester courses (Fall and Winter/Spring), consistent with all other TBI student course  requirements. In addition, the student will receive supplemental learning during the Summer and Winter school breaks. You will have the opportunity to provide encouragement to your sponsored student and will be provided more information upon your commitment to sponsor.

IMPORTANT SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION
The annual sponsorship covers (but is not limited to) the cost of the instruction, a King James Version Bible, all class resource materials (books, pamphlets, etc.), media, printing and binding all homework booklets, shipping, reporting of grades, record management, communications, etc.

SPONSORSHIP PAYMENT OPTIONS - Total commitment is for a full year and can be paid in one or two payments:

1. Annual Student Sponsorship ($400) 
2. Semi-annual Student Sponsorship ($200) - remaining balance of $200 due Nov. 2024
